Subscriptions and Billing

Threaded offers three plans designed to meet teams where they are, from a single engineer getting started to a full production team running a connected, AI-enabled process. Plans are managed under Admin > Subscriptions.

#Plans

#Starter — Free

The Starter plan is free for a single user and includes full access to core Threaded features:

• Threaded Work Instructions
• Threaded Value Stream Map
• Action tracking
• Limited AI use (20 messages per month)
• Media library (up to 50 items)

Starter is designed for individual process engineers or teams evaluating Threaded before rolling it out more broadly, or for individuals with simpler requirements for process documentation and value stream mapping.

#Builder — $40/user/month

The Builder plan includes everything in Starter, plus the full collaborative and automation feature set needed to manage your process as a team:

• Version Control to manage your instruction set through a connected Development and Production environment, with Change Requests and a formal review and approval workflow for every change that reaches the floor. This is the foundation for team alignment, continuous improvement, and compliance with frameworks like ISO 9001.
• Automated Process CI checks for work instructions and production readiness
• Team collaboration to add additional Editors and Operators to your organization. Read-only operator access to the Production environment is included at no additional cost beyond the per-Editor/Owner seat price.
• Generous AI usage included (up to 1,000 messages per month), with usage-based pricing available for expanded use

Builder is the right plan for teams actively building, managing, and improving their instruction set together.

#Transform — Custom Pricing

The Transform plan is designed for larger organizations with more complex needs. It includes everything in Builder, plus:

• Migration of existing documentation into Threaded
• Connections to other systems and factory data sources
• Priority support for your transformation

Transform goes beyond software. Our team brings deep manufacturing expertise—having launched and operated everything from EVs to consumer products, combined with world-class knowledge of applied AI. We can work alongside your team as partners to help you launch, ramp, and scale. #Billing

Threaded plans are billed monthly per user. When upgrading to a paid plan, you will be prompted to add a payment method to complete the upgrade.

• Your billing cycle begins on the date you upgrade to a paid plan and renews on the same date each month.
• When new members are added to your organization partway through a billing cycle, their cost is pro-rated based on the remaining days in the cycle.
• AI usage is included as part of your plan up to the limits above. Usage-based pricing for expanded AI use is available on the Builder plan. See your current usage at any time under Admin > Usage.
