Installing the Threaded App

Threaded is a progressive web app (PWA), which means it installs directly from your browser with no app store required. You can always access Threaded at https://app.threadedmfg.com, but installing it as a standalone app provides easier access, gives you a cleaner, full-screen experience and enables system notifications on your device.

Follow the instructions below for your browser or device.

#Desktop

#Chrome

1. Visit https://app.threadedmfg.com
2. Click the install icon in the address bar
3. Click Install

#Edge

1. Visit https://app.threadedmfg.com
2. Click the Apps Available icon at the top of the screen
3. Click Install

#Safari (macOS)

1. Visit https://app.threadedmfg.com
2. Click Share → Add to Dock (macOS Sonoma or later) or Share → Add to Home Screen (earlier macOS versions)
3. Click Add

#Mobile

#iOS (Safari)

1. Visit https://app.threadedmfg.com
2. Tap the 3-dot menu next to the URL bar, and tap Share
3. Tap Add to Home Screen
4. Tap Add
5. Open Threaded from your Home Screen

#Android (Chrome)

1. Visit https://app.threadedmfg.com
2. Tap Install at the bottom of the screen if prompted, or tap the three-dot menu and select Add to Home Screen
3. Tap Add to Home Screen
4. Open Threaded from your Home Screen

Installing Threaded as a standalone app provides a few advantages over using it in a browser tab:
